Traditions of Dedham

I feel like it’s hard to give a review when touring bc you see it very quickly and only rooms that they want to show you, you don’t speak to the residents and you have no real idea. They were very nice, it was clean and bright, and close to Legacy Plaza which would be nice for shopping. I have it a four bc it seemed updated.

My father and I had the most wonderful tour with [name removed], who was amazing and lovely in every way. She took us all around and introduced us to people. The place is gorgeous and I really hope my dad can join that community. I’ll be applying this week.

I have 3 cats. I don’t know what I would do without them

Stay involved

Make yourself known to as much staff as possible - it makes life easier for all. Would be nice if their was a exercise room/gym onsite

Excellence

Traditions lives up to its reputation. It is an excellent facility in every way. The people who work there, from maintenance folks, on up to administration, are excellent. Traditions is very welcoming, they do all kinds of activities and trips, the food is excellent, and the accommodations are fine. The place is clean, welcoming, and pleasant. The residents are well cared for, and I would live there myself, someday, if it comes to that.

Happy Mother Happy Family

My mom as been at Traditions for a couple of years now. She has many friends there now and really enjoys the activities. She is very opinionated and tells us all the time how happy she is there even though she was skeptical at first. She enjoys sitting outside, the exercise classes, happy hour* and her private space where she can relax and be at home. She has slowed down a bit lately and Traditions is supporting her all the way. She gets health care as well on site, for the most part we don't have to take her to …
