PositiveWe went to quite a few places and United Methodist Communities at Pitman seemed to be the one that was the most caring. They just seemed to get along with all the residents and it seemed like a very happy, open, and well-run place. The staff was more than excellent. My mother-in-law is going into nursing care and it's going to be two people in a room. They seemed fine. They each have a bureau. They each have a closet and they can bring a chair into the room. It seemed very clean and it was nice. They had a com…

PositiveMy mother was at United Methodist Communities at Pitman. She was in their dementia care. It was by far the nicest, most caring, wonderful facility I could have imagined to be able to put my mom in. The staff was unbelievable. They were caring, compassionate, and concerned. They looked after her needs. They kept her clean, they got her up, they got her dressed, and they had her involved in activities. She wasn't just somebody laying in a bed waiting to die. She was a human being to them, and it showed. They had…

PositiveI liked that United Methodist Communities at Pitman was homey. I liked the room that my mother-in-law would be residing in. It's a little bit more rundown, but it offered a lot of activities for my mom if she were willing to get involved. The facility is very clean. I really like it. The staff members were friendly and seemed attentive. They had game activities. They had little reading nooks here and there with books. They had beautiful balconies and little concerts at night.

CriticalUnited Methodist Communities at Pitman was very quaint outside, we were very optimistic when we approached the building. The staff was very nice. It felt cramped though when we were in there and it's outdated. I didn't see much activity at all among the residents or anybody there. I wasn't impressed much at all, the rooms were very small, there was only one elevator, and they were very cramped with people coming and going. It just needed a facelift. The staff that I spoke with during the tour was ver…

PositiveI visited the United Methodist Communities at Pitman. It was very nice. They also had memory care, which my uncle will eventually need. The staffs were very informative and very accommodating to the patients. They have a bistro where the patients can order what they want from the menu. They have a nice courtyard for them to sit in, which was nice, and they also have a church.

PositiveUnited Methodist Communities at Pitman is probably the best visit that I had. The people were just super, everybody that I talked to and dealt with, we talked to and met with one of the caregivers. She talked to us for 5 minutes, and they seem to have the same stuff as the other place I toured, as far as the facilities look. It's very well-kept, clean, everything was really good.
