We chose Via Linda Assisted Living for mom because it's a mile from my house, and it's small. They only have 10 residents. It's like a family. It's like a private community, and I was impressed with the owner/manager. The same people would be helping her all the time. There's not a big turnover in staff and all that. The room is small, and we have complete freedom to do whatever we want in there, so we will make it hers for sure with our own furniture and things they will provide. Their din…
