The Victory Centre of Bartlett is fantastic. I think my mother is warming up nicely. Her room is a studio apartment, and it's beautiful. They have a cleaning service, a nice bathroom with a walk-in shower, a little kitchenette with a refrigerator, a microwave, and granite countertops. All laminates. No carpet. My mother is participating in the field trips where they bring them to the store. She has not yet participated in a lot of them, but there are a lot of things for them to do. This facility used to be great, my mother-in-law lived there many years ago. A friend recently moved in there, and it is owned by a different company. The units are still nice, but a good portion of the staff are not senior friendly. They provide corporate answers to resident's question, they do not want to deal with issues the residents bring up, the food is sub par, and the person in charge of the nursing staff lacks any empathy, and should not be working with seniors. Victory Centre of Bartlett has been amazing. The care that our mother is receiving is more than we could ask for. Everyone that we've worked with has been very kind and compassionate. They really made this decision a great one for mom. We would highly recommend the facility to others.

We recently attempted to enroll our mother at Victory Centre. All was going well, with the application process, and it looked like mom was going to be moving there. Due to some technical issues, with Medicaid application, we were rejected 2 days, before she was scheduled to move in! The cancellation letter was NOT very flattering and we feel that we did not get the support that we needed. The amount of rudeness I received from the RECEPTIONIST is insane. I toured this facility with [name removed] which was very nice, professional and thorough providing excellent details regarding facility. I called and asked to speak with [name removed] (I believe she is the new director) and instead of being transferred to her I was transferred to a nurse.. I called back and the receptionist yelled at me telling me I have the wrong place and hung up on me. I called back repeatedly which she would not answer until I…
