PositiveThere are multiple different things offered here like independent living, assisted living, higher levels of care and even a rehab unit and that was something we like. There are plenty of activities going on Monday through Friday, they do a good job keeping the residents busy. The cleanliness is great, even though it is an older facility it was well kept and not run down. They could work to improvement the meals, we personally think the quality is just not really adequate for adult seniors.

PositiveFrom entering thru the front door, getting to my rehab room and everything in between before I discharged my stay at Waunakee Manor was delightful! Clean! Patient, compassionate staff! Not my home-cooking food but not bad either! Rehab was GREAT! One downside, no visitors due to government guidelines to keep us at risk folks safe! Highly recommend!!!

CriticalSTEER CLEAR. Grandma was here. Not enough staff. Grandma waited 10-15 minutes for CNA after she pressed her button to go to the bathroom. I was there numerous times when this happened as I visited regularly. Don't dare complain. or social workers cop an attitude and we were treated very poorly after doing so. Terrible food as well.
★★★★★
CriticalTERRIBLE PLACE. Dishonest, shady. My aunt looked at places here. The marketing director told her that the place she looked at was THE LAST UNIT left. He told her she'd better snatch it up or it would be gone. She committed, signed the contract and gave them $2,500 deposit. The next day... The marketing guy called and said he had made a mistake and wanted to change the unit that she signed for to a different unit. (What? He claimed she'd better hurry and sign cause there was only 1 unit left! Now there are more???)…

PositiveMy father resided in an Assisted Living Apartment for several years. ALL staff: business office, nurse, aids, cleaning, maintenance, dining and even the barber were attentive, professional and kind. Thanks for the exceptional care!

CriticalThe nursing staff is very unprofessional. Getting them to do anything above handing out meds was like pulling teeth. My mom kept losing weight because the food is terrible and they were not tracking how much fluids she was taking in despite her being very dehydrated. I was told by a nurse that she has 65 patients she is responsible for per shift. There is no way the nursing staff would have time to do anything beyond handing out meds.
