CriticalTerrible care! My sister had to go here for rehab after she fell and broke her leg. She was moved to a long term room while she is Medicaid pending. The entire place is terrible. So many agency staff and zero consistent care. I had to demand she get a shower and told them they needed to do it while I was there! Took an hour to get someone to come in and do it. I had to help transfer her! This place is just awful! Do not send your loved one here. I'm moving her asap.

CriticalThe 1st room my mom was in, had a gap in the wall to outside, leaves and bugs getting in. She was in there 7 weeks. In that time, she lost 20 pounds, had bed sores and a UTI because she would have to wait hours to have her diaper changed so she would end up holding it for hours. Ended up with a UTI because of this. They forgot to feed her more than once! Had to pull her out of the facility and sent to the hospital because of the bed sores and dehydration. Continuously met with staff to try and resolve issues but no…

CriticalMy mother was in The Westchester House for rehab. The place is understaffed, and the employees are overworked. Most of the help is from an agency, they couldn't care less, they're there to get a paycheck. Portions of the place smelled and they made no effort to bathe mom while she was there. She was pretty much ignored, except for when food was brought in or out. I don't have many nice things to say about the place. Mom said it was pretty okay. She said the night aides were mean, she ended up falling…

CriticalMy mother was transported to Westchester House from hospital for rehab. Within 48 hours she was transported to another hospital, covered in extensive bruises. The night and weekend staff here leaves a lot to be desired. Most are unaware or unable to articulate of following process and procedures. This facility received all of her records from hospital, called me when she arrived, wrote down my & my brothers contact information on the night she arrived when I was there, yet transported her to hospital and NEVER …

CriticalI was in this facility for acute care after a massive reconstructive surgery on my knee. How this place passes itself off as an acute care facility, I have no idea. It is not. It is a nursing home, plain and simple. And not a very good one. Eleven years ago, I had the same surgery on my other knee, and this place was very nice. So when I had to get this procedure again, I chose The Westchester House. Big mistake. They want to blame CoVid for their drastic decline, I get it. But the problems there run far deeper tha…
