I am/was a resident of this facility

I have lived here 15 years. Moved in after visiting 7 other facilities. I love my spacious home here . The entire facility has just been renovated. Very classy . New state of the art Kitchen and Dining room . Activities abound Nice heated pool , large putting green , fitness room with supervisor. Food is good. Two busses for trips and appointments. Staff is well trained and very friendly . Residemts are really nice . I have everything I could need or want.

Housekeeping is a joke. They do not dust or clean the shower or toilet. I have to clean after they leave. The apartment was sprayed for cockroaches but they are everywhere. No follow up after spraying. The meals are of poor quality. Lettuce in the salads is brown, tomatoes are soft and mushy. Food is cold when served.

I visited this facility

Westminster Towers was wonderful, but it is a fee-for-service community. When you go for independent living, you pay for that level, but when you need assisted living, the fee for that level increases. Other than that, I have nothing else but good things to say about the place. I liked the decor and the living facilities were beautiful.

Westminster Towers was very nice, although I didn't get the impression that it's new or newer than the other place I visited. They're renovating it to a certain extent, and they're renovating some of the apartments. I think they're doing a good job, and overall I think it's satisfactory. The place is outstanding. The staff member who gave us the tour was very nice and pleasant. They have the usual features like crafts, they play bridge, they have a reading room, and that sort of thing.…

Westminster Towers was beautiful. They had an indoor pool and they also had nice apartments. I know people there and it's close to my family. They also had general aerobics which I really enjoy. They have a nice little bus that can take you shopping or to your doctor.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

My parents moved to Westminster Towers in 2013. One of my parents recently passed away & now I have a parent in the Manor. Westminster has changed a lot over the past 4 years & not for the better. There is staff turnover, meals are not as good as they use to be & fees continue to rise. It appears they are about money & not residents. They have new administration that does not care about longtime staff & the ones that suffer are the residents. I sense the tension & unhappiness when I visit wh…
