I visited the Westmont of Escondido, and it's very, very nice. I really liked it. It has more floors, it's higher, but not as spread out as the other place, so it doesn't seem quite as big once you're inside. It's not as intimidating for my mom, but it's a bigger place. I only met two people, the receptionist and the sales gal who took me on the tour, and they were very nice. She gave me additional information that I hadn't had before, which was very helpful. The communication is good. When I'm there staff seems very caring. It's hard to really rate as my stepmother is in memory care so getting feedback from her is difficult. Room/apartment is plenty for her needs. Cleanliness seems pretty good.
