CriticalWas there for physical therapy.. Was not provided a chance to get another Care Plan since they wanted one only one day after I arrived. I had to look up pharmaceutical company to get one of the prescriptions I take. Did not know there were commuters for residents to use. Did not know I was supposed to research group homes . Have emailed case manager numerous times over the bags of clothes. I BELIEVE THESE WERE IN THE AMBULANCE. Getting someone in administration is hard. Two bags of clothing are lost now that no one…

CriticalAbsolutely do not put anyone you care about in this place. It's dirty, they are very understaffed or the staff just doesn't do their job. The staff is very mean and rude to the patients. The showers are covered in mold and the place looks like it's never been remodeled. Paint is chipping off the walls and it's just extremely cluttered, old and dirty. If they have bladder issues and wear adult diapers, be prepared to wear them for 12 hours straight. The place smells very strongly of urine and fec…

PositiveThe facility is clean and well maintained and provides a family atmosphere. The outdoor facilities provides an alternative for visiting with my loved one. (Lunch or an afternoon milkshake enjoying the sunshine and a quite visit outside.) The therapy team are excellent with the Residents. They are focused with getting the Resident up and moving and assisting with gaining their strength. If you need therapy, Willowbend is the place to go. The entire staff at Willowbend are always ready to assist with the Resident and…

PositiveI have been in Willow Bend to visit residents that are part of the family and although they were in for Rehab, it seems the whole facility was clean and and residents were happy. In multi times with different areas visited, as they were moved into long term living, Great care has been given and the staff are very caring and helpful. Questions answered quickly and they go the extra mile to put a smile on their residents faces and make sure they are comfortable. Rooms are comfortable and bring a few things in from ho…

CriticalThe place looks nice from the outside & someone up there works hard at decorating for each holiday. However, I'm not sure I can say any other positive comments about Willowbend nursing home & rehab facility. My husband was taken to this government/VA run facility after having a severe stroke. He spent 34 days in the hospital & then was transferred to Willowbend where he stayed for 5 months. His stroke left him unable to talk, unable to walk on his own, unable to use the restroom on his own & un…
