PositiveI would say that it is a nice place if you are independent. The apartments are nice and the neighbors are really nice! I would definitely recommend.

PositiveOur loved one is more of an introvert and does not participate in the activities but they do fill up his bird feeders which is great. The kindness of the staff members here has continued to stand out to us and based on our experience so far we would recommend the Yadkin Valley Senior Living community to other families.

CriticalYadkin Valley is the most affordable place in the area and that's why we chose it.

PositiveMy Dad lives here and things seem to be going fine. He seems to be settling in pretty well and the staff seems to be doing well in their interaction with him. I’ve seen him eat the food and he seems to like it. The building itself is kind of self-contained and they keep track of him pretty well. He’s making friends and there are never any loud noises, so it always seems peaceful and quiet. The cleanliness seems to be pretty fine as well. It’s an older facility but it’s cleaner than a few other places that I’ve been…

PositiveThe lady that we talked to was very nice. There was a smell, but I think that is probably normal in places like that. They seem to care for the people well, but it was kind of depressing. My husband is the one that we were going for; we were going to look for his mom, and he was not too excited about her staying there. My personal feeling is that she is not to the point where she needs the assisted living there so much, but she is not able to handle independent living as well.
