The best thing Atlantic at Charter Colony is the camaraderie of all the people who live here. It's like one big family. I like the movie nights. I don't like having to pay for laundry, and I don't like the fact that they changed the soda machines out and brought cans in. That's my two big complaints. The apartments are nice. My mother stayed at Atlantic at Charter Colony for around 5 years. I liked them before COVID because after COVID, it changed them. Before COVID, they offered so much, like she could get her hair done there. They had a lot of activities for her to do, like play games and bingo. They were just always doing something. Mom was never in her apartment. She was always out doing things. And I thought that was good for her. Her actual apartment was nice. She was in a 2-bedroom unit because she just wanted more space. Glad to be out!!!

It was a good place until about two years ago when the office management was changed. Since then it went down in many areas including clean and well run. Not a place for spending your senior years. Very cold in all ways.

So far the residences, and staff have been so friendly and very helpful. Everyone just is so welcoming and open, and invites my Mom to all the activies. It seems to be a very good "fit" for her. I know my brother and I will worry less now that is has found her new "home". Thank you

Nice, not the best location, far from the VA hospital, too pricy for him.
