A Wonderful Experience for my Mom

My mom has lived in Century Oaks nearly 3 years. She entered in a medical state of needing care; recovering from broken ankles, surgery, in treatment for cancer also, struggling physically, weak, and needing support from leaving her independent living lifestyle behind. From day one, she has received so much loving support, gentle care, encouragement, and help along her journey in recovering. Large, comfortable rooms. Timely meds.

This review is for Building 1, and accordingly, I can not speak for the other parts of the facility. My wife has been a resident for years so I can speak to the before and after ownership change. While there have been staff changes following the management changeover, at no time has my loved one ever missed a meal or medications. I am often on a video call when staff delivers food, meds, cleans the room, etc. and I have never observed an instance where they were less than kind and caring. Two improvements under …

Exceptional staff

The staff at Century Oaks provided exceptional care for my dad. Dad required respite care after his discharge from the hospital. The director took care of the arrangements with very little lead time. During the 2 weeks my dad spent at Century Oaks, he was treated with respect and compassion. I will always be grateful for this experience and the Century Oaks staff and leadership.

Terrible

My sister has been there for almost 4 years century oaks was pretty good when she first got there but it has been down hill ever since you can’t ever talk to anyone there is no staff here the food is awful when she presses her light it takes forever for someone to respond just found out they are closing this building because of all the bad complaints against this place please do not send a love one here they will not be taken care of

Terrible place for your loved one

Since this place was taken over by a company out of Texas Century Oaks has gone down hill there is discention among the employees and staff the CNAs are over worked and nobody wants to do there job the residents are ignored there are ants in the rooms the place smells like urine its not a clean place anymore do not take your loved one here you will be sorry
