I visited this facility

I liked everything about Bella Vista. There wasn't anything that I didn't like. The thing is that I need assisted living because I'm legally blind. I have macular degeneration in my eyes, and I cannot see the writing on my prescription bottles, even with glasses, to get my pills out to see what I'm doing. So I have to have assistance with my medications, that's all that I need assistance with. I like the idea that we would have all those extra activities like bingo, Friday fish fries, and h…

I toured Bella Vista. Rebecca met me and took me on a tour of two living quarters in the building. One was larger than the other one. Then she showed me the library and the hospitality area and talked to me about the events they have for the residents. The library looks nice and comfortable, but I don't want to be in a place that large. It had a lot of different residents.

We toured Bella Vista. It's a very nice place and well-kept, and a lot of opportunities for entertainment for the residents. The rooms are very nice. We looked at one-bedroom apartment-type rooms, and they were good size. They have two options for meals. They have a happy hour. They do field trips. They take people to Supper Clubs and places where they have outings and things for the residents. The staff seemed nice. The one I dealt with seemed very good.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

My mother-in-law has recently moved to Bella Vista. It's only been a little bit, but it seems like a very nice place for her. It's what she needs. The staff is responding quite well, they have housekeeping come once a week, and they have meals prepared. So she goes down to eat the meals and everything's taken care of. They're taking social security checks, but they give her $100 a month for spending money, which is more than enough. Her room is very, very nice, I wouldn't mind retiring ther…
