Our experience as family of my mom

Brookdale Midwestern of Wichita Falls is phenomenal. My mom has been there for a year and overall has been a pleasant experience. The staff, the cooks, everything has been awesome. We truly are excited with the experience we have had. The director [Name Removed] is a god sent. Her compassion for the residents is a gd sent. The whole staff is a pleasure.

I sneek in without an appointment and they were happy to give me one. I’m really bad with names but she was Super helpful and gave me a couple of things to check on to help me. It is a smaller place than Brookdale Lake Sides. I do like the inside garden area. Everything is locked down and no one can can get hurt by taking off. Which I do like do to what I went through with my grandmother. There are many plus sides to the other Brookdale and here but there always there. Don’t hesitate to visit.

Overall as nice community

Since this is a small facility, they do not have a large staff. Therefore, often visitors have to wait longer than average before staff can get to the door to let you in and out.

Brookdale Midwestern is just off a very busy freeway. The units were smaller, and the price was higher. I was looking at a 1-bedroom apartment. I toured the place for assisted living. I inquired if I needed additional assistance, like if I were in my home and would need home health care, and they said they would accept that, so that's a plus. The outside of the building is well-tended, and the parking lots are clean and well-organized, but that's all you see. The front of the building is all concrete and …

Very caring staff

So far everything is a 5. My mom is doing so much better than she was in her home. Everyone is so caring and take time to talk to you.

Mom's Home away from home

Our experience with Brookdale Midwestern was only a 2 week stay while we were on vacation, and it was a year and a half ago, but she was well cared for while she was there.
