Brookdale is amazing. But so is "A Place for Mom." Without you we would still be searching. We love Brookdale Hemet so much. The staff are the most caring and friendly group of people. My brother in law loves the food. He's gained a healthy amount of weight. He's not into any of the activities and is quite reserved. But he is happy and thriving so therefore we are too!! We didn't even know independent living existed until your rep explained it to me after I told him what was going on with my brother in law and …

I toured Brookdale Sunwest. I like the atmosphere. I like the friendliness of the people and the easy atmosphere to navigate. The place is simple, very colorful, pleasing, and comfortable. The rooms are nice. All of the staff members were very nice. They were very easy to talk to and very friendly. It was very clean, and the ambiance was excellent. I felt like I would fit right in. I guess the tenants were very friendly, too.

The people at Brookdale were so kind. The 1 bedroom apartment is what took the cake!! It was so far better than the other places we toured. The pricing is fair and I would recommend it!! CriticalSome things good, others not so good
My mom says the food is really bad, entertainment is boring, and carpets, fake plants in the common areas are dirty/dusty. They changed the policy on when you can pick up food to take back to your apartment to eat, which is very limiting. There is a very limited laundry facility.

PositiveMary was incredibly kind and patient and took us for a really comprehensive tour of the facility. My grandparents were very impressed by the quality of the area and the housing. The heated pool was a big plus as well.
