Calveria Living at Berryville

My indepth discussion with the Valeo Director explored Calveria's capacity to accommodate a potentially "difficult" resident who suffered with extreme delusions, including paranoia, which resulted in my satisfaction and approval. Such discussions and observations leads me to conclude that Calveria has developed and operates a high quality program of memory care that meritoriously meets the varied individual needs of its residents.

I was very impressed. This facility looked and smelled good and the staff were excellent. I would highly recommend this place.

Clean and very well aligned as far as the rooms . The premium studio room was absolutely perfect. Parking area was very convenient to the building. Location was very good as far as being close to major metro areas.

Mediocre

I like the fact that it houses a smaller community of elders (under 100), but staffing seems thin and less engaged than I'd like.

I visited this facility

I was at The Retreat at Berryville for a brief tour. The director of marketing was very informative. She answered all my questions. The facility was very clean, very well-kept, and very pleasant. They had a lot of activities for the residents. If they could have alcohol, they could have a happy hour, which was wonderful. They offered the same things as far as amenities like hairdressing and PT. The activities schedule was very good, and I was impressed with that. The rooms were very spacious, too.

They have always been very receptive and tried to remedy any issues I might be having. The activity director is above and beyond and has made it such an enjoyable experience. My mother loves it there so much!
