Canterfield of Franklin

I think the facilities is great. I think there are some concerns when it comes to laundry and getting clothes back to the caregiver there's been a lot of missing things although they have offered to replace them. It seems to be a continuous thing and that's the major concern we have right now.

Lovely facility, competent and kind employees, but communication needs to improve

We were very happy with the respite care. Mom was happy and in good shape when we picked her up. The only problem is the lack of communication. Since my mom has Alzheimer's, she was unable to tell us anything about her stay and no one from Canterfield reached out with a report. We considered Canterfield for permanent placement, but ultimately did not choose them because of this communication issue. Respite care is hard to find and Canterfield was available. Definitely recommended

I have used Canterfield of Franklin for Respite Care three times already. Everything at this facility has been great! The staff was receptive and friendly with the residents, they spend time with each resident and check on them periodically. The food was good, the housekeeping was excellent, as was the communication with the family. The move in process was well-coordinated. I would definitely recommend Canterfield of Franklin to others.
