Morning Pointe Of Brentwood

My loved one lived here for about 3 years and it was the place to be. It was truly great. Most of the staff was fabulous, the Business Manger was on top her game, the food was good (farm to table). Then Covid hit. And in those 3 years, they went through 5 Executive Directors and it showed. It became a corporation and all about the money. They started using mostly agency staff, management went downhill. The Director of Nursing was terrible and I didn't trust her. Dad's room started being dirty pretty regularly. They…

This was a new nice facility. I did not feel that it was the right environment for my loved one and that is the only reason that we did not go with this facility.

I went to Morning Pointe of Brentwood last year, but I've been visiting them for years. Their memory care unit is fairly small, which makes it good. It had a lot of interesting things as you walked down the hall, like country-music memorabilia, guitars, and a piano. They have a place that some of the women visit because they have a doll bed with dolls and stuffed animals. I've seen them make floral arrangements. My mother-in-law is in Morning Pointe of Brentwood's Alzheimer’s unit. The staff is pretty good overall. It’s clean, but there’s a distinct smell from the front part and the back part. They have a big room where they bring in people to play instruments, show movies, and they have different events like family day where we’re invited. They have flower decorating, word games, and a large, screened-in porch. I think the food could be better.

The food at this community is good and they offer a variety of healthy choices. The staff are helpful, encouraging and will go the extra mile for you. The community is clean and the grounds are well maintained. I would recommend this community.

The staff at Morning Pointe of Brentwood is very professional. I appreciate the décor. When we arrived, not only did the head chef come and introduce himself to us in the lobby, the head nurse, maintenance director, director, and the director's assistant also spoke to us in the lobby. That was really unexpected and made my dad and I feel very comfortable. They had repainted the room and patched any holes in the walls where the previous resident had hung something.
