My mother has been at Cedarhurst of Des Peres for about six weeks now. When we move my mom in, they gave her a little competency test and said that she would be able to take her own medication’s but less than 48 hours later, they said she wasn’t taking them right and took them away from her and added $1700 to our bill for them to administer her meds. They then add $250 a month on top of that for her to use her Pharmacy. My mom very much wanted to use her own because she trust them and she recognizes her meds. They …

[name removed] was amazing! Did an online tour with her that was very informative and helpful. Information gave me a clear picture of how helpful Cedarhurst can be to our family member.

Great experience with Cedarhurst of Des Peres

I feel the staff has been wonderful with mom. Each person goes in with different issues and personalities. Mom is one that needs to stay busy and helpful, so they adapted to that and have mom helping with activities (setting up, etc). She also has a dog there and they have been great with reminding her to take him out.

The dining service was terrible. Rubbery fish, bones in the fish, broccoli cooked until no green left. The cafe was full and they had to wait for 1.5 hours gor crappy over cooked food.

Went down hill fast.

My family has had a horrible experience there. Head of nursing does not know what she is doing. If you complain or question anything, there is retaliation. Housekeeping is horrible, we did a lot of the cleaning ourselves. They pushed Dover health & hospice on us, then we find out they are all owned by the same company. The service from Dover Hospice was not good. They talk about how great the food is, but most of the residents complain about it daily. Small unappetizing meals, especially on the Memory level. Half t…

Worst place ever

Lots of fluff. Shows good but very short on professional staff. I’m still paying on a $[removed] hospital bill initiated by Cedarhurst. This would be the last place to consider for a loved one. Again, shows well but very unskilled staff.
