Emerald Bay Retirement Community was a beautiful place. They were very friendly and very informative, but when it came down to putting mom on the waiting list, there's just no way we can afford it. Otherwise, she'd be there now. The facility was very clean and very nice. If that's the way it is all the time, the place is perfect. I like Emerald Bay Retirement Community a lot. I would like to live there myself. I talked to some residents there as they came through the door. The man that took us on the tour was very good. The receptionist at the door was also very friendly and knowledgeable. It was a lot brighter inside. There wasn't all the dark wood, but we had to go up a couple of stairs. It wasn't on the first floor where he showed us the availability of the apartments, but I thought what he showed us was comparable to the other…

Overall I think everything was good and super friendly. There was a time or two that when a medical condition arose, there was confusion on orders and f/u with the Dr. was lacking. Also telling him was not effective as he doesn't always understand the medical jargon or couldn't remember what he was told to repeat it.

Very happy with Emerald Bay, beautiful facility, top notch care

We are very happy with Emerald Bay. The staff is very caring and the facility is beautiful and clean. She has a nice one bedroom apartment on the first floor with an electric fireplace. Her window faces the woods. She enjoys the birds. They do her cleaning and laundry. They help her with her shower and give her her medication. She gets WiFi and cable included.

Emerald Bay Retirement Community was my number one choice. The facility was amazing. Absolutely amazing, friendly, bright, and everything you need. I was especially impressed with their rehab. It was like a great big area that they do rehab. They seemed to have a lot of care for their patients. They just don't let them sit in the room.
