PositiveFriendship Village Kalamazoo has very long hallways and it's very much like a dorm. It's just long hallways with doors. The apartments are nice, and they aren't too big, but they're adequate. They're like two-bedrooms. We are very active and we do everything and that's hard to do in this place. We've got friends there. They have a pool, which is kind of nice. Like all pools, it has a lot of downtime. The problem with their place is they have close to 400 people and when it comes t…

CriticalFriendship Village Kalamazoo was a clean place. It was very nice. It was kind of basic as far as the hallways, decoration, and that type of thing. We weren't impressed with the person that gave us the tour. She seemed more like a marketing person, and was interested in selling us something rather than finding out about our parents and things like that. We're also looking at a two-bedroom place for my parents, and they had a two- to five-year waiting list for their two-bedroom units, so that kind of took t…

PositiveFriendship Village Kalamazoo is a big complex. They have a beautiful fitness center with a full-time fitness trainer, a nice library, a nice, beautiful dining room with nice tablecloths and flowers on the dining room tables, an art gallery, and there are patches for people who want to garden. They also have walking trails. They have apartments and also garden homes for people who want individual homes. We were pleased with the people who worked there and are living there. The staff was friendly, helpful, and cooper…

PositiveFriendship Village was very good, and they're hard to get into. It had a very good management. They know how to take care of their residents. It was one of the top senior places in the area.
★★★★★
PositiveWe really love this place and can not wait for my husband to move in. The staff has been really great so far and I like the way that they interact with the residents. They also are right there in a reasonable time when a resident calls them. It is like a 5 star resort.
★★★★★
PositiveFriendship Village is great. It’s very clean, and the town houses and the staff are very nice. The PT is very good, and the rehab section is excellent. They’re thinking about putting in a pool, which would be great.
