Small, but friendly

Although Gardenview Assisted Living is a small facility, that is actually what drew us to them. Some of the other facilities are just too big and therefore overwhelming for my loved one. Moving my loved one in was very simple. Nothing fancy, but adequate. The staff is friendly. They are very good about communicating with us when we visit, which is pretty much everyday. However, they are frequently short staffed, especially on the weekends. As a result, there have been a couple of occasions where my loved one has be…

great staff and nice community

They do not have a ton of activities going on right now just given the circumstances with covid, but they do have bingo a couple times a week that helps get our loved one out and about. She does love sitting out by the fireplace and read her book and when the weather was nice they would go on extra walks during the week which she appreciated. The PT therapist has been super nice and helpful. The meals overall are pretty good, but they do serve homemade desserts with every meal - we think they could maybe just do th…
