The Residence at Freeman Lake

All the information during our in person meeting was very personalized, thorough, comfortable and easy to understand and also to easy to share our parents situation. The whole facility was neat , tidy, smelled clean and very spacious. Lots of amenities & personal care available but was not forced on everyone which is nice. Mixed Bag

The over all experience was good facilities are fine aids are hit or miss. Food was not consistent due to staffing issues. And at times served cold. Care Plan was decent but not explained in detail. Did not receive an " Orientation package" had to find a lot of stuff put on our own. Plenty of activities if you wanted to engage. Response time on inquiries was slow at times.

Beware

Bad experience for the family and the client. Comments: the assisted living facility is great, but the memory care was horrible. The food was poor, the activities director left in a month, without letting us know. We will led to believe that we would get daily reports about our parent who was the client. We got nothing for 2 weeks. Except that when the client fell and went to the hospital, we were notified. Facility very clean and bright. Staff has been wonderful about everything and so very friendly. My friend [name removed] who lives there says it is Totally better than she ever expected.

A great fit for loved ones

Facility and staff are very good to the residents. Sometimes difficult to get a hold of people though and the billing can get quite confusing if things change. As always, communication could be better.

This community is amazing! The residents are always active, and there’s such a warm, vibrant atmosphere. The management team was so wonderful to my family throughout the transition. My mom has since moved in, and she absolutely loves it here!
