PositiveHeatherwood was the first tour in which I participated. [name removed] took the time to give a tour of the facility. He did answer the questions that I asked, sometime weakly as when I asked about WiFi (but I have developed even more questions after reflecting on the experience). It was my mistake to focus on what it could cost rather than on what space I would need to live comfortable. I've come to think that I "need" a one-bedroom rather than a studio. I'd like visit Heatherwood to learn more the living space ava…

PositiveEven though the building is quite old they do make an effort to upgrade it and are currently working on things like that. All of the staff is just amazingly helpful. The residents are very friendly and even helpful. I really wished I had found this place before I went into [community removed]. I would give [community removed] a one. Heatherwood doesn't provide actual care per se but if there's anything you need non-medically speaking they're right there to help you out. The room is very spacious with lots of storag…

PositiveOverall everything is fine. Sometimes the hallways smell like urine but they use wall plug fresheners to help with that. I would recommend adding a food room delivery option for those who are sick and may not have the energy to go downstairs to get their food. They have to-go orders but you still have to go down to get it. There were no grab bars for the shower and they wouldn't put any in. We had to hire a licensed contractor at our own expense to install safety bars in the shower. I absolutely love that they also…

Positive1. Ambassador needs not ask the resident to take a tour on first day of moving in! He asked 3 times, resident was exhausted and had to say no each time, not cool. Maybe set some policies/expectations for them to be patient in their approach, especially on move in day. 2. Great first and second lunch tour with [name removed]! She answered all our concerns/questions and was very thorough and professional. 3. Food comments: Mac n cheese and casseroles don't make a good meal. Larger portions of meat/protein and fresh…

CriticalDue ongoing issues with food and delivery of it promise made and promises not kept. The staff are friendly price is better than others but the FOOD needs improvement example no menus for today at all food delivery is not good often times desert is offered because of the lag in getting food orders delivered timely
