The very only thing I have a problem with, is their rule of making you buy medicines from them? You cannot have any of your own medicines or get your prescriptions at any other Pharmacy. You have to go with conssanas and if you don't they charge you. I can't remember how much but it's a lot. Otherwise, I can't say enough good about the place the food is really good. Everyone that works there are exceptionally nice. They always respond right away when I call with a question.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

My dad moved into Highland Senior Living. The staff seems very committed and dedicated, especially when we had trouble with my dad not wanting to be there. The director, Hannah, came to my dad's room and talked with him, spending a great deal of time with him, trying to calm him down and make him feel more comfortable. I visited this facility

Highland Senior Living's assisted living is very nice, with very friendly people. It had the room and everything my dad and his wife needed, so it was good. The living room and the kitchen were a little smaller than they wanted, though. I think at that time, they only had a one-bedroom apartment to show. The staff members helped us with the tour, and they were very friendly. They also had a courtyard where the residents could go outside and have room to move around. Great small facility - but after my visit I went to Brainerd and met with my father - he has opted to try home health care services first. He also strongly demands that he stay in Brainerd long term I really will keep little falls information in my file as it can always remain in my options if necessary.

Our experience with Highland Senior Living has been a very good one! It's a clean, nice looking building, and everyone has been very friendly. They're very accommodating, and get right on top of any requests or questions that you bring up to them. It's a nice place!
