Morningstar is a great place. Staff is phenomenal! My dad was there for only a few weeks and then he fell. He went to the hospital and is currently in a rehab center. It looks like he may be going to hospice. We are waiting to hear from the rehab center but[name removed] isn't getting any better and he doesn't want to improve. He has made it clear. Unfortunately, he may be moving out of MS in January. I appreciate all the help we have received.

PositiveAt both Morningstar facilities that we toured, everyone was so helpful, friendly and compassionate. We would rate both places 8-10 out of 10, but a little bit more than we were willing to spend. We could cover the cost for 2-3 years, but we really feel like our mom could outlive her resources at Morningstar, so we need to choose a more affordable option. Thank you for your help in our search for a new place for our mother!

My dad moved into MorningStar at Applewood. There is nothing that I don't like about Applewood. They know what they're doing, how to care for dementia patients, and how to redirect him. They have him engaged in it. They're great. He has a sunroom. How they did it was that they recommended you move their items in first, and then a day or so later, you take them to see it.
