PositiveWe visited Wellmore of Lexington's assisted living community over a year ago, and it was wonderful. I was impressed with everything, so it's definitely at the top of my list. I'm looking for a place that will handle all levels of care, all the way to skilled nursing care, so that we won't have to change communities. It was very clean, and I just loved the atmosphere. The people also seemed very knowledgeable. There really wasn't anything that I saw that I didn't like. Everybody was ver…

PositiveI stayed in Wellmore of Lexington for rehab. The community was beautiful. It's a five-star community. The people were very nice, very gracious. I didn't have any problems with anybody. And anything you needed or wanted, they got for you. My room was probably 10 by 10 with a hallway to the bathroom, which is very fine. It was clean, it had great people, and I was very pleased there. The food was OK. You had the regular menu. Then, they had a menu you could order from if you needed something. I got double p…

PositiveMy mother is currently at Wellmore of Lexington for short-term rehab, but it's becoming more and more obvious that she's going to need to go to a skilled nursing facility. Once her Medicare runs out, they do not accept Medicaid. Because of that, I'm going to have to move her from here. I visit her every day. I have no complaints at all. It is very clean. I would love for her to be able to stay here. Neither she nor I have the financial resources to be able to pay for this. We have about another 30 da…

CriticalI am deeply concerned and disappointed with the care my mother received at Wellmore Nursing Home in Lexington, SC. My mother, who was in need of compassionate and attentive care, was subjected to conditions that were far from acceptable. During her stay, it was distressing to witness her wandering the halls aimlessly due to a lack of adequate supervision. The staff seemed either overwhelmed or indifferent, and this lack of attention to her needs left her in a vulnerable and unsettling situation. There were multiple…

PositiveThe staff is welcoming and do a great job of walking you through the initiating process. They are quick in attention to detail in addressing problems. The facility is clean, cozy and has many activities for residents. Highly suggest.

PositiveMy farther has been at Wellmore of Lexington for just over a year. He’s in memory care. It took us all some time to adjust. We love having him there. His room is spacious, the lounge/eating area is always clean with lots of outside light coming in. They can sit outside. The activities are dad’s favorite thing to do other than eat! The staff is friendly, caring and attentive to his needs and our concerns. It’s a beautiful safe place. We love it!!
