Every thing and every one has either lived up to or exceeded our expectations. My dad is calling regularly to rave about the fitness activities, the meals and the kindness and consideration of the staff. They changed ownership at the end of last month and are now owned by Epoch and I believe their new name is going to be Rivermere. No loss in quality so far.

PositiveBeautiful Facility, some disappointment
On a scale of one to five, I would give them 4 stars. And the only reason I am saying that is because it was a beautiful Facility. The room size was beautiful. We had a one bedroom plus a sitting area in the kitchen at staff was wonderful for the most part and the place was immaculately kept however, and this one was a big one for me. My husband ended up passing away three weeks after he arrived. He passed away around 10 PM and I did get a call from a staffer that was checking on him. But in the remainder days into…

PositiveVery impressed with Charter
I give everything a 5. I was really impressed with Charter when I was visiting and now that my sister has been there a month, I'm still very impressed and satisfied with the choice. When a new person moves into Charter, they really work hard to make that person feel comfortable and welcomed. Helping them to integrate into all that Charter has to offer and showing the friendliness of staff and other residents to feel like part of the community.

I'd give them 4 stars. Food is 50-50 someday better than others. Staff some are outstanding, CNA's are not that great. Very clean. Activity director is 5*! Exercise is great. The building is very nice. 90% positive. Upper management very open to fix a problem.

Overall, there have been some challenges with communication and timely follow-through on certain requests and services, as well as occasional concerns with coordination of care. That said, the aides and nurses have been excellent - they are very caring, attentive, and supportive. The food has also been very good. The memory care setting may not be the right fit for every resident, especially for those who are more socially engaged, as opportunities for meaningful interaction can vary.
