I visited this facility

I toured Songbird Pond. It looks like a very nice place, but their paperwork says that when you run out of money, they find a different facility for you. They also do not take Medicaid. The room that was shown to us was a nice-sized one. The staff member who was supposed to give me the tour wasn't there. They had activities, but I don't remember what they were. Their dining areas were confusing for me. They were in different areas. It would be very confusing for the residents to go back and forth to find …

Last year on our 60th anniversary, they had a special dinner for us and a guest in a side room with flowers and champagne. It was much more than I expected and greatly appreciated.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

My friend is a current resident of Songbird Pond. The layout is pretty nice, and the rooms are nice. The only problem that I have is that they have a big turnover. That's the only sad thing about that place. It's a bit expensive, too, unless you're on Medicare or Medicaid. I just don't like their turnover; they can't seem to keep people.
