Overall would recommend

The staff and management are very involved with their residents. They go out of their way to help. They are very understanding and treat everyone with respect and care. They have rooms in various sizes to meet the needs of everyone. The facility is clean with areas for recreation and entertainment. I didn't check on the food when I visited. I would recommend the community to others.

[name removed] was very friendly and professional. All the staff I encountered were equally nice. The facility was clean and had a clean smell.

Great experience. Just didn't use them at this for respite. I will certainly consider them in the future when going on vacation etc.

Needs improvement

I have gotten to know some of the staff so they favor my loved one, but the administration is horrible and so is the food. And even though I complain and my loved one , the head of the facility just doesn't seem to care. I like the homeliness of the facility but I have to visit constantly to make sure it's up to my standards. And thankfully. It could be a great facility with the right staff. As my son said, nothing will change as long as the boss doesn't care then why should the staff. Elderly care is very expensiv…

I thought it would have worked out, but it didn't. They said my son didn't get it because of his age. It was set up just the way I would have liked it. It was small, which would have been better for my son. The facility itself was fine. It just didn't meet our needs, and I think I could have been more informed about the fact that my son was not going to be accepted. But initially, everything seemed fine. My review of Brookdale Senior Living

We are very pleased with Brookdale.Everyone here does their best to make our mother feel comfortable as she has to adjust to her new home.The staff is friendly to our family as we visit with our mother each week.We are usually here at lunch time and are asked if we would like to join her.The meals that we have eaten there were very good! Our family is pleased with the service and treatment our mother is receiving .Thanks for all y’all do!
