The administration and staff were top notch. The choice of a daily menu and the willingness to cook things off menu was more than accommodating. My mother having the opportunity to play dominoes like her regular routine at home was encouraging to know. As, I spoke to my mother each day her quote of the day was, "Everybody always asking me if I need something". The room accommodations were beyond my expectations.

Rooms were large, bright and very clean. Most residents were in wheelchairs and the atmosphere was peaceful. The staff were always changing, retention was challenging.

The rooms are sunny with patient controlled heat and airconditioning. The food is excellent with home made soups available every day, and desserts with meals. Family can join their loved one for meals with a little advance notice to the dining room staff. The building is attractive and well maintained. The laundry service is very good, with staff taking the dirty laundry and returning it to the resident clean and folded. The administration is sensitive and available to speak with patients and family and answer ques…

There were no permanent admins for the 2 months we were there and the head nurse left after we arrived. Not for someone who is ambulatory. Most of the residents were not. It felt more like a nursing home than assisted living. But the rooms are nice and large. My family member was diabetic and the food options were not designed for her.
