I went to see my aunt at The Grand Rehabilitation and Nursing at Chittenango. When we got there, there was somebody there that we knew, and he was doing good. It was a friendly atmosphere, very homey, and very nice there. It seemed clean. The people were very nice. The nurses were very nice. The lobby was nice.

The Stonehedge Health and Rehabilitation Center was well run, with a very helpful and courteous staff. I was always greeted with a smile and many of the staff knew me by name, which was always a nice thing to know they cared enough about the family members of the resident to remember them. Although my family felt that our close friend be at home for the end of his life, his family felt that this facility had an excellent environment with very helpful staff. He was sick with leukemia and they had plenty of medical equipment and staff to help him. Other residents, however, did not need such facilities. I found this to be an excellent component of the facility because it served a range of residents in terms of where they were in their lives and what they needed to keep them as healthy as possible.
