The Greens at Hammonds Lane

My brother was released from the rehab that he was in, and he's now residing in a senior apartment called The Greens at Hammonds Lane. You have to be 62 and older to live there, and he's able to live on his own. It's subsidized, so it's very affordable. He's in a one-bedroom apartment that is $550 a month and that includes utilities other than PG&E. My brother is in his own apartment but then down the hall, there is a trash chute, so he doesn't have to go outside to empty the trash…

The Greens at Hammonds Lane was a very nice and very organized place. They had friendly people and things scheduled for the residents to do during the day. They also have assistance if they need it for anything. They have a gym, too. They can cook for themselves, and the rooms were very spacious and extremely nice.

No air conditioning be careful

I brought my mother to live here approximately 7 years ago. It was wonderful. Since the new management has taken over you can rarely talk to anyone with concerns. The friendlyness, and genuine concern for the elderly is gone and rudeness is now the norm. The heating and AC units have been out for months and now replaced with cheap portable heaters to warm the apartments. My mother still has the need for additional blankets. Comfortable Community

I am doing just fine here at The Greens At Hammonds Lane. I really this community the staff has been amazing to me and extremely helpful. They are really kind and helped me get settled into the community. I've notice they do offer activities here for the residents and they are very nice. I feel comfortable and safe here at this community and A Place For Mom was wonderful for helping me find a place really thankful for their help.

I have been a single senior apartment dweller for three and a half years. I didn't know what to expect having been a homeowner for over 40 years. When I visited here (The Green on Hammonds Lane ) for the first time, I was overwhelmed by the elegance I saw as I entered. I was warmly greeted by a resident who became my best friend here.
