Really positive experience so far, staff are attentive and caring

The decision to go to assisted living is not an easy one. In our case, we may have tried to keep my in-laws in their apartment too long- transition to Shores happened quickly and they were able to accommodate my in laws within the week. Not the best place to send your loved one

My father has been at this facility for the past 2 1/2 years and it has gone thru 3 directors. They have no organization, no hired cleaning crew, no maintenance man, his toilet has leaked for 3 weeks and they keep promising they will fix it but they do not, I have now reached out to the state concerning the safety of this facility. One newer shower had not worked for 2 months. I might have to move my father if it continues to get worse. Not enough staff. My dad's sheets might not get changed for 3 weeks.

Friendly people!

The Shores is a very nice place with very nice people. My aunt gets along with all of the staff and the director. The meals she tells me are great! She loves the food that they serve. The apartment she is in is comfortable, but she still misses home.

Mom had been living alone and on her own for over 33 years. She is 94 now and experiencing difficulty with her walking and taking care of herself and wanted to move into assisted living if possible. We checked into 7different assisted living facilities in the Sheboygan area and we found that Harmony of Sheboygan West fillfulled her needs. She has a lovely room with bathroom and large wardrobe.
