The Summit

Lovely place

The apartment is lovely -- it is large, with high ceilings and lots of light. The balcony is also large and has a very nice view. The food is quite good, we were very pleasantly surprised. The staff have all been friendly and helpful throughout the moving process.

The facility was beautiful with many varied amenities. One of the things we did notice was that management didn’t seem to know the names of the patients and they didn’t really interact with them. We also noticed that once they realize there was a tour, the staff suddenly snapped too. They cannot provide the level of care that Dad currently needs. The person we worked with was [name removed] and she was lovely and took time and listened and worked with us and even suggested that we might want to have an appointment …

I would like to tell you that I would highly recommend The Summit to anyone looking for a very nice place for a family member to live especially if they are looking for memory care! The staff is very friendly and the place is always very clean and doesn't have that odor that a lot of the other places have.

I visited this facility

I toured The Summit's assisted living facility, and it's gorgeous. It doesn't give off a nursing home vibe whatsoever. It's very clean, and a newer building. The grounds are nice, too. Everybody was super friendly and helpful. Even the residents there are all happy, so I really liked that place. It was like going to a five-star hotel. It looked good, and they had a nice menu.

The Curb Appeal was very good. The Greeting Area was Spectacular. [name removed] our gracious host for the day was great and did a good job of showing all the site has to offer. The 2 Bedroom that was available to be seen was very accommodating. We were a little confused about the meals and what was included. We would like to have seen a menu. Also would have been nice to have a Calendar of the monthly activities. Definitely a place to put on for a review. We did get the pricing and will have to compare to the othe…

Disappointed

I can tell you that the facility is lovely, the food is pretty good, the people are pleasant. But I would not recommend it to anyone. In the 3 weeks Mom was there, they never got her medicine right. They forgot it, gave her wrong pills etc. They also forgot her showers unless I reminded them or gave her a shower myself. And they would forget to change her bed unless they were reminded many times. They were supposed to pop in several times a day to check on her...only one aide did that. They were supposed to pop in…
