CriticalRegarding staff and rules: some on the too overbearing side. Most direct care staff helpful and knowledgeable. Really short staffed. Often just one helper where two would have worked better I.e. on sit-to- stand. Policies re medicine distribution and using only one pharmacy unreasonable. Food was tasty and nutritious but service was very poor. Often waited for unusually long time for service. Cost too high.

PositiveThe facility is very nice, and [name removed] was gracious, and interested in learning about my husband. We will go back for another look before making our final decision.

CriticalIt's very clean and the food has been good. They have occasionally run out of the special of the day and there are complaints that the portions are too small. Some of the care partners are very good, others seem to not want to be there and are defensive, rude, or uncaring. There have been many problems with medication administration. I think this would be a good place for people who don't need medication at a specific time and can do some things for themselves

PositiveOverall I was happy. We weren't there for long on hospice. I didn't have any chance to eval activities. When he could eat he liked the food. I felt the nursing/aids were mostly very caring. One in particular lied to me though about a few things like getting my dad out of bed. I knew this couldn't be the case for many reasons (his lift was missing parts and still had tags on it, etc.) Also he could walk or really function so much and she said he was clapping and dancing. She was definitely talking about my dad. Not …

PositiveStaff - The staff has all been so amazing! Some of the friendliest people I've ever met. And they truly care about the residents and they truly enjoy their jobs! Activities - although I have not participated in any of the activities myself personally, there always seems to be something fun going on. You've somehow even got my mom to play bingo!!! ?? Food - we have sampled the food and it is fantastic! And we love the menu and the venue. Such a beautiful atmosphere. Cleanliness - the whole place is so clean! And …

PositiveFood: unknown - food service was very responsive to special diet/food prep needs, but my father was only able to eat the first couple of days he was there and was not able to communicate regarding flavor/taste. I don't have a great deal more to say, because my dad was only there for a little more than a week, and was dying, not conscious for most of that time. I am incredibly appreciative of how helpful the care staff were. They were the only facility that was willing to take my dad directly from the hospital (ther…
