overall a quality and friendly place

There is new ownership and it is no longer called Arbor Palms - Anaheim Villas is the new name. I've been very pleased. I chose this place because it was the overall combination considering all factors in location, price, amenities compared to competition.

Money Driven, Do NOT Recommend, Keep Looking!

No longer at Arbor Palms, actually spent less than 3 months there before they doubled the cost and priced us out. They need to be honest! They got us in, deposit, security, 1st month, all while knowing what their plan was to be. They are just financially driven.

My parents have both passed away since I placed them in Arbor Palms of Anaheim, I would not recommend Arbor Palms of Anaheim. Definitely not a place that I would recommend. I would say a 0 at best, would not even give them a 1

Critical

lack of care, not a good place for a loved one, terrible experience

My mom fell in the facility, broke her hip and was transported to the hospital for surgery. She went to skilled nursing for rehab after that, and on the same day she was scheduled to return to Arbor Palms. They advised me that she is no longer welcome and you have to clean her room out. I had to scramble to find another place quickly. Arbor Palms sucks.

Bait and switch

I can't believe it... My mom moved in on [date removed], and now they're raising the rent from $[removed] to $[removed]overnight. They didn't even bother to inform me about this increase, not through email, not through mail. This company is just... the absolute worst. I'm so upset, I even had to call Adult Protective Services on them. There are so many people who won't be able to afford this sudden hike in rent. It's just a terrible place for seniors to live. There's absolutely no compassion for the elderly.
