Incredibly rude receptionist - Called in to speak with a specific individual. Receptionist stated the individual would not be in until Monday (I called on a Friday morning.) I offered to leave my name and number or send an email, she thought it would be cute to hang up on me. If this is how staff treats people just calling in for information, how do you think they take care of the residents? If you value your family, do not look into this place.

Mom is happy and safe!

Mom is happy which is what matters the most. They are always short on staff...but that is everywhere. the staff that they do have are very caring. The facility has 4 pods of no more that 8 residents in each community. Circular and safe, staff that know their residents and can meet their needs more personally. I am grateful that mom is here and would definitely recommend Ascension Living Valley Residence to others.

All staff are friendly, helpful, clean, obviously very caring of facilities residents. All questions were answered appropriately and staff took much time with family members for questions, etc. Appears very secure and safe.

They move patients around to much

They have moved our family member 5 times over the last 2 years. Seems disruptive and unkind for patients. We were also under the impression that this was a end of life facility but apparently it is not.

Ascension Living Valley Residence (formerly Alexian Brothers Tennessee Memory Care) is for more advanced memory care. You're not allowed out. All the doors leading to the very front of the premises can only be opened by having a card or hitting a thing with the card because of the condition of the patients there. They would not be able to go in the front of the property or move out onto the road at all. There are much more restrictions there.
