The caregivers truly understand memory loss and are trained well. The manager of this house has been with the company for a long time. She is super sweet and is cheerful everytime we see her. Any time we have concerns, she is proactive.

I have personally observed a high staff-to-resident ratio. My wife has been at this home for several months now. Prior this she was at a competitor home that lacked the appropriate staff. I think they just had problems hiring people. In any case, Avalon seems to have a really high staffing ratio.
