Lynridge one bedroom apartments are just the right size for my 92 year old mom. She has enough space to sit in her living area and visit with family and friends, yet it's small enough to easily move around in her wheelchair. There is also really good closest space. The staff at Lynridge is phenomenal! The aids and nurses seem to really care about the residents. Love the activities and interaction with other residents. My mom is very social and that has helped her a lot. No facility is perfect and I visited a lot before deciding on Lynridge. It was the only one that the moment I walked in I knew it was where she should be. Have not regretted that for one second. In fact I have referred 2 friends there and they also are very pleased

The facility is slowly getting a facelift. All apartments are being updated to all hardwood floors (much better than carpet that holds stains). New residents will move into a newly updated apartment. Helpers are upbeat and friendly. They genuinely care about the residents. I will say this - I have to continually stay on top of the med techs and the on-staff nurse to make sure mom's medications are being given properly. I have had issues (more than once) and I have had to correct them. I do not ever assume it's al…

Overall it was a good experience. Dad had advanced Alzheimers and Parkinson. He wouldn't/couldn't comprehend what was going on. Dad was there only 30 days before passing. Can't make an opinion based on that time, but based on the experience we did have with Lynridge, we would recommend them to other families.
