Staff will ignore you

If you are independent, come to this place but if you require a lot of assistance- this place isn’t for you. Workers WILL ignore you for period of time even if it’s emergency. Foods are decent, living space is decent.

Needs More Cleaning!!

I really hope that it could be possible that they made a specific area for smoking. At any entrance family and loved ones always have to pass by so much smoke and it's making my loved one sick. At the beginning of my loved ones stay no one greeted us or even gave us a welcome packet that explained rules, meal times, and other information we would have like to have received. The carpets are stained and need a good cleaning and in some floors like the 3rd floor by the elevator it always smell like urine. The staff is…

I visited this facility

My brother ended up in Brookdale Chestnut Lane Gresham. My experience there was great. The administrator invited us in and gave us lunch in the dining room, so we could experience the food and everything there. It's very special and mainly for deaf/blind folks. There's only two in the country that are like that, so people come from all over the country. A lot of the staff members are also deaf there. They have a chef and better food than some other places. They have crafts and bingo, and because it's…

I visited this facility

I visited Brookdale, and it was not impressive. The atmosphere is impersonal, the staff was so-so, and the dining area was too big. They have a studios, one-bedrooms, and two-bedrooms. They don’t have a gym, just two machines in a workout room.

I visited this facility

We chose this facility because they accepted my mother's pet. She got a studio there which is very adequate for her. I'm kind of having mixed feelings about Chestnut Lane. My mom was having a heart attack and she was sitting there in the hospital and they didn't bother call me. I am not really happy with them right now and I wish I can just get my Mom out of there but I can't at this time. The difference there is that when people come to work, it's like they love their job or just work for …
