Overall, the experience has been positive and we've received a lot of attention and care. However the dining room has problems. On a couple of occasions I have had to go find someone to wait on us after 25 minutes, the (good) food comes out cold (tonight for instance) and the staff seems overwhelmed.

Overall, Broadway Cityview and specifically the apartment we are in is great. My wife and I are generally very happy. Staff and residents are very friendly and welcoming. Staff seem to know everyone by name and address them by name. I can’t really speak to the “care” provided since we are in independent living and receive no “care” per se. The facilities, activities, food are all really nice. We are having a challenge getting my brother in law to socialize and engage more but he's content. I wish the staff checked on him a bit more. I think it would go along way toward getting him more engaged.

Our apartment was spacious and easy to furnish. I liked the kitchen with pantry and cabinet space - more than adequate. The bathroom also with great space for storage and hanging clothes. The door to the outside was wonderful. Walk to meals or spend time on the benches to enjoy visiting with neighbors and watch the dogs and squirrels play.
