Criticalmove here only if you don't need medical help
I moved my father out in December after multiple emergency low glucose incidents. Admin does not return calls, the nurse does not review emails with new medical indications in a timely manner nor do they provided staff who administers medications with updated information in a timely manner or follow-up with them. Wait time for assistance with incontinence takes a while and residents develop rashes. Service rates for care are not discussed before being added to residents bill as the contract states. We are actually very disappointed with the quality of care, especially lately. They don't have transportation anymore which is creating a hardship and a main reason we chose Brookdale. We are considering moving him to a new facility.

The facility was not prepared for my father in laws arrival. Although the facility employees are very kind, I can't help but feel that management needs to be more hands on. It's kept very clean, they offer a lot of amenities for the more independent residents.
