PositiveIt is mostly a decent place Room size is very good all inclusive price is great Staff is mostly good with residents patient and caring Food very bland not much fruit and little vegetables The price comparison with other places is definitely on the good side. Our family experience was overall good with Carmel Village If your loved one has to go into assisted living care we would recommend it

CriticalCarmel Village is an acceptable place for seniors who are still fairly independent and only need minimal assistance, meals, & basic housekeeping. However, once a resident requires a higher level of care, they cannot provide it. My mom lived here for two years. PositiveFacility is very nice. Sometimes need to remind them to do [name removed ]'s laundry. I wish they would trust me with the door code for memory care.
★★★★★
PositiveStaff is friendly and efficient. Daily activities are the same and do not vary. Could use some imagination in finding new things to keep people interested. Facility is clean and taken care of. Visitor parking is limited and street parking is limited due to surrounding apartments. Restaurant service is attentive and responds to individual requests.
★★★★★
PositiveIt's difficult to say whether Carmel is better then other places. They seemed to be attentive to my mother's needs. I think a larger common area would be nice, but do to the condition of most residents in this part of the facility, unnecessary. The care givers were a pleasure, and communicated effectively.
