My mother moved to Cedar Crest Alzheimer's Special Care Center. I chose it for her because of the atmosphere and how pretty, light, and bright it was. I also absolutely loved the person who showed us around and introduced us to the staff. All the staff, every single person, have been, as my mom would say, so service-oriented. They just really take good care of her, and most importantly, let her be independent. They let her participate in things that she wants to, and they don't push her, so she really lik…

Cedar Crest Alzheimer's Special Care Center is, by far, one of the better places out there. My sister was there for respite care, and they took a step above by making sure that not only was my sister in a good facility for care, but that I felt okay to do what I needed to do for two weeks. She's my oldest sister, we're the last two, and they put my mind at ease at a care facility that would take care of her needs. Their staff was really good. I toured the memory care facility of Cedar Crest Alzheimer's Special Care Center, and everything was good except that it's an older facility. I liked it, but the odor also bothered me. Other than that, the staff member who assisted me during the tour was excellent. From what I saw with activities, the care, and the staff, I'm giving them a high rating.
