Settling into a new home

There is no price for security... or shall we say it's a high price, but a luxury all the same. I feel great knowing mom is at Estancia Del Sol for several reasons. Knowing and trusting that your parent is safe and happy is an incredible relief. She is now comfortable asking me to leave, so that she can attend Bingo or any number of other activities. Elegant Experience

In my limited experience—having only visited Estancia Del Sol—I found it to be a very clean, warm, and inviting facility. My mom spent her first two months in Memory Care, where every aspect of her day was carefully planned and coordinated. She has now been on the assisted living side for only about a week. While I can’t speak for her entirely, from what I’ve observed, she seems to like it—even if she still wants to go home sometimes. Mom was in assisted living at Estancia Del Sol, and then they had an opening in their memory care unit, so we just ended up moving her there. She loves that area. All the staff are very caring and very personable with my mom and with the family members. They seem to care a lot. The facility is gorgeous, and the food is excellent.
