My parents are at Genesis Manor 5, a board and care home and together in master bedroom. They are getting good care and caregivers are kind and patient. I would rate overall 4. Think food offerings could be better with more variety. No activities. Dad is wheelchair bound and mother bed bound on hospice.

My Mother is very happy living at Genesis Manor and even though she was sad to leave her own home, it didn’t take her very long to consider this her new home! She feels like she has another family and the caregivers call her Mama! We always feel welcomed when we visit, and Mom seems very happy and well adjusted to her new home! Our mom has lived here over 3 years. She has been well cared for and treated like family through her best and worst times. She is not always easy to care for but the staff is attentive, kind and respectful. They coomunicate with us and i feel like we are all part of a team. The house is clean, organized and homey. I did tons of research and happy I chose Genesis!

The family of healthcare workers who own it are very helpful and involved and they try hard to accommodate your needs/ requests. As far as activities go, there really were none other than watching tv and going for short walks if requested that I recall. I would definitely recommend Genesis Manor, I have had 2 family members here!
