We went to Gilman Grove unannounced, and I was able to speak to the manager. He was available, and so he gave us a tour. He was very thorough. He took us into a private room, and we talked to him. The community was very clean, remodelled, and very nice. The menu looked good, and the dining area was very nice.

Overall 5 on everything. They are good at communication and returning calls if there are questions. They promptly respond to our loved one when he needs help or extra assistance. The place is a bit outdated, but the new owners have been actively updating the facility. Great to see.

For the most part, the staff are great. When we moved my loved one in, the cleanliness wasn't great. I had to do some cleaning myself. The wait times for maintenance/repair requests could be quicker. Overall, I would recommend the facility to others, though it is pretty expensive.

The staff is very friendly and caring. They have been able to answer our questions and help us get all care organized. The food is good and there are stable options if something doesn't appeal to my grandma that day. There are a variety of activities and the facility is well kept. Based on the experience we have had so far, we would definitely recommend Gilman Park to other families.
