The food and care are absolutely great, and my Dad received the best care possible at this home. I would recommend this home to anyone thinking about placing their loved one at this location. It is, immaculate and the service is stellar.

Dissatisfied

This place has kind employees. Although, we explained what type of nutrition needs were for the patient it was not followed. Instead they were given canned food all the while the employees prepared home-made food. They do not check on patients during the night for assistance with bathroom or diaper changes. Perhaps a night-shift assisted living person would be beneficial. I believe this place is more for bed-ridden patients. The location is beautiful and cleaned. No words can express my gratitude for the loving, compassionate care givers to my mother by the staff of Golden Cascade. As a nurse, I felt great peace of mind knowing my mother was in competent, caring hands after suffering a disabling stroke. My mom actually ended up in a board and care facility, Golden Cascade. It was excellent. I couldn’t have asked for anything better. They treated my mom like she was family. They took really, really good care of her. Food was excellent. They had five other residents there and they made sure that what they fixed caters to everybody’s needs and their taste. So it is not like everybody is served the same thing. My mom couldn’t feed herself at the very end, so they went from regular food to pureed food. They adjusted ev…

The staff is very dedicated and very friendly. The gave really good 1x1 attention which is really hard to come by these days anywhere, regardless of the price. I've dealt with other facilities and this one is one of the best by far!
