CriticalI was not very impressed with Hilltop Park Rehabilitation And Care Center. It was very clean as far as that could be. However, I like people to care, and I didn't see that the way I should have. I'm very picky; I'm a big advocate for my family and any of my friends. I'm one who they ask to look out for places and to feel them out because I've got a good feel or a bad feel. However, I didn't care about Hilltop Park. There are always things that you can improve in places, but Hilltop Par…

PositiveWe toured the small assisted living part of this very big facility housing rehabilitation, a large skilled nursing department & memory care. From the Human Resource Dept to the custodian polishing the floors, we were warmly greeted. A resident saw us in the halls & came out to tell us about the place & how she liked the staff & management. Her sincere smile was well received. We passed a courtyard & entered a clothed dining room with an attached activity room where several were playing on a brand new pool table don…

CriticalWhen we walked in it was very dirty and it smelled bad. The person who gave us the tour was not friendly and we had to wait a long time. It was just not a good experience at all.
★★★★★
PositiveThe facility is extremely clean but is an older building. The staff was masked, business like and extremely friendly from our entry to exit. We viewed the maintenance doing a routine repair. A large group from CVS was there giving Covid shots. The clients were coming and going in the halls with staff members. Normally many residents come and go, but there are covid rules in place now. The staff is providing activities and special games for entertainment. One resident told us about the good food she had. We witnesse…

PositiveMy mom was at Hilltop Park. She had her own room, which she preferred. She liked it. The staff was good. Everybody that I met seemed sincere in trying to help her. She didn't have any major complaints about the staff. She is a person who is pretty picky, but she liked the staff. They brought her meals, she ate the food, and she didn't complain about it. Overall, it was pretty good. The facility was older and it kinda showed, but it was clean. Medicare was paying it for me, but we got what we paid for.
★★★★★
PositiveThe staff and tour guides at Hilltop Park were very friendly and informative. The thing I did not like about this community was that it was too institutionalized. We were looking for something with a more homelike feel.
